Okay, here's another link.
Please read it, I found it extremely interesting.
A young girl had the idea for a Modesty Survey, and two teenage boys made it happen.
The Modesty Survey is a bunch of statements about girl's modesty that thousands upon thousands of boys either agree, strongly agree, disagree, strongly disagree or are nuetral towards. And they comment.
For example:
"Showing any cleavage is immodest"
36.6% strongly agree
33.8% agree
14.7% nuetral
12.7% disagree
2.3% strongly disagree
an example of a boys comment:
"This cannot be emphasized enough. Cleavage is perhaps the most "come and lust after me" thing a girl can show while still wearing clothes."
Some might find this offensive, some may find it extremely helpful, some may think it's untrue. But i found it interesting, and certainly worth a look.
That survey truly made me feel like a horrible person D:

ReplyDeletewell we should take into consideration that we live in australia, and most of the boys who commented on the survey live in America. That being a factor because of the climate. Australia = hot = summer clothes.
not to take too seriously... but it makes you think eh!
It does make me think. Like some of it I don't agree with completely, because if we were to stick to all of that we'd look like nuns. But it really does make you think; so often girls don't think of how guys are seeing what we're wearing. I know i often have worn just a bikini with my male friends and I always forget how cruel that is.
